Services for Clifford O. “Bo” Hill were held July 31, 2016, at Pruitt Baptist Church with Bro. David McNary officiating.

A graveside service followed at Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton.  Visitation was held at Hilliard Funeral Home.  Grandsons and grandsons-in-law served as pallbearers.

He was born July 23, 1929, in Wisdom Temple Community near Van to Earl Jefferson and Verlie V. Nations Hill. 

He was married on Aug. 25, 1950, to his wife, the former Patsy Watson.  They met while both were attending school in Denton. 

After a teaching career spanning 34 years at Cana and Quitman in Wood Country and Winters in Runnels County, they retired to the farm they bought in 1952 north of Van. 

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Watson Hill; children, Jim and Shirley Hill of Van, Lynanne and Randall Caussey of San Angelo and Trish and Rick Parker of Van; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Josh Caussey, Carter and Luke, Jana and Chad Duncan, Miles, Jack and Ava, Jarrod and Amanda Hill, Jordon, Josslynne, Jeremiah and Jazzelle, Justin and Amanda Hill, Jayce and Riley, Marie and Justin Allen, Macy and Kylie, Judd and Jadi Parker, Charli and Bonni, Niki and Sam Johnson and Scarlett, Laci and Ranz Nelson, Jonah and Eli; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and David Lake; sisters-in-law, Judy Hill and Lou Hill; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Joe Watson; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Verlie Hill; brothers, Mike and Sam Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Charles Baxter; and in-laws R.T. and Nanie Watson, Jake Watson, Betty and Wayne Wilson and Bobbye Collette and Tommie Connelly; nephew, Kylie Lake; and niece, Jennifer Hill.

He was a member of the Church of Christ but attended Pruitt Baptist Church.
