Graveside services for Sue Lewis, 96, of Quinlan, were held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.

Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mrs. Lewis was born Jan. 7, 1921, in the Hiram Community to William Daniel Robertson and Evalyn Mae Smith. Her family moved to Houston when she was five years old. She married John H. Lewis Jr. in 1941, in Houston. When he retired in 1980, they made their home at Lake Tawakoni.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Lewis, Jr; parents, William Daniel and Evalyn Mae Robertson; brothers, William H. Robertson, Robert M. Robertson, and Thomas B. Robertson; and daughter, Evalyn Maude Lewis.

She is survived by her son, John Lewis of Wills Point; nephews, Ronald Robertson of New Boston, and Gary Robertson of Richmond; nieces, Linda R. Williams of Conroe, and Diann McGonagill of Marble Falls.
