1948-2017
Memorial service for James Clyde “Jimmy” Hay, 68, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his family farm north of Wills Point. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
He passed away Friday evening, Feb. 10, 2017, in Forney.
He was born Aug. 7, 1948, in Wills Point, the son of Harvey Hay and Panjo Jean Fischer Hay. He was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1966. He later attended U.T. Arlington. He was in the Army Reserve and was discharged on July 11, 1974. He was self-employed as an independent insurance adjuster, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed woodworking, operating heavy equipment, hunting, fishing and politics. He loved the land, especially his farm. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Panjo Hay and a granddaughter, Mary Grace Hartline.
He is survived by four daughters, Denise Hartline and husband, Bob, of Round Rock, Amie Harris and husband, Greg, of Royse City, Jamie Rogers and husband, Eric, of Avon, Ind., and Melissa Bunch and husband, Shannon, of Forney; sister, Suzanne Younger, of Katy; ten grandchildren, Madeleine, Aiden, Alex, Desirae Hartline, Ethan and Reese Harris, Karlie, Jaxon, Sam Rogers and Emme Bunch; great-granddaughter, Elena Trevino; two nephews, Owen and Matt Younger and special friends, Pilo and Veda Herrara and their family.
