Services for Laura Faye Bateman Harris were held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Restland in Dallas. Interment followed at Haven of Memories in Canton.
She passed away March 20, 2017 in Harvest, Ala. She was born March 15 1932 in Wills Point to the late Clyde W. and Mary Bateman. She was married to Harford E. (Bozie) Harris for 66 years and spent the last 25 years making their home in Wills Point. She retired in 1991 from Haliburton where she was a supervisor over Data Entry. She was a member of Moore Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Cloyde Bateman; sister Vernell McCrary and grandson Jeff Weiss.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Jean McColpin and husband Mike of Harvest, Ala; daughter, Kay Weiss and husband, Jim, of Wills Point; four grandchildren, Kena Davis, Laura Ashburn, Jimmy McColpin and Jace Weiss and ten grandchildren.
